CigarMKE - Cigars Under the Stars 2 - August 27th

Aug. 1, 2014

Hey Milwaukee, Let's Get Lit!

CigarMKE Cigars Under the Stars 2 is in a few weeks!

CigarMKE is the only Milwaukee area professional, yet casual social group for women & men who love to smoke cigars or pipes, socialize & or just relax.

This cigar group is for anyone who likes to enjoy good cigars & friendly conversation.

There are no fees to join CigarMKE, no rigid structure or silly rules to follow.

Your only responsibility is to bring your own cigars & pay for your beverages.

If you decide to golf 9 or 18 holes on the day of the event, you are responsible for your green & golf cart fees.

Our next event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th from 5 pm to 9 pm at the award winning Brown Deer Park Golf Course located at 7625 North Range Line Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209

One of CigarMKE’s members, Scott R. Evans, PGA – Head Golf Professional of Brown Deer Park Golf Course will be our host.

Join Scott & the rest of the CigarMKE members as we enjoy Cigars Under the Stars 2 at the beautiful Brown Deer Park Golf Course’s famous 18th Hole.

If you want to golf the day of the event, Scott has blocked out the following tee times for members of CigarMKE.

If you want to play 18 holes, the tee times reserved are:

12:03 pm
12:12 pm
12:21 pm
12:30 pm

If you want to play 9 holes, the tee times reserved are:

2:00 pm
2:09 pm
2:18 pm
2:27 pm

Anyone interested in any of these tee times must email or call Scott direct no later than Wednesday, August 20th to ensure your tee time.

Since this is on a first come, first served basis, you must contact Scott with your tee time & the number of people in your party no later than Wednesday, August 20th.

The green & cart fees will be as follows:

Anyone with a Milwaukee County Parks Golf Discount Card will pay:

$ 23.00 to walk or $ 33.00 to ride 9 holes
$ 40.00 to walk or $ 55.00 to ride 18 holes.

Golfers without a Milwaukee County Parks Golf Discount Card will pay:

$ 40.00 to walk or $ 50.00 to ride 9 holes
$ 74.00 to walk or $ 89.00 to ride 18 holes.

You can contact Scott direct at SHAG@PGA.COM or call him at (414) 352-3353 with your reservation, number of guests & or additional questions.

Scott has said the greens haven’t looked this good in 18 years because of the snowy, cold winter we had.

Who knew such a miserable, cold winter would benefit us in August?

If you don’t feel like golfing a round, you are more than welcome to bring your golf bag & practice your putting on their beautiful putting green anytime during the day or during the event.

You are more than welcome to bring your own cigars, but all beverages must be purchased at Brown Deer Park Golf Course.

If you do not have your own humidor, Brown Deer Park Golf Course has an outstanding selection of Arturo Fuente cigars for every taste & budget.

For CigarMKE members, Scott has arranged extended hours for the clubhouse bar & restaurant.

If the weather is questionable, the alternate date is Thursday, August 28th.

If the weather is still questionable on Thursday, we will meet at Club Havana that night starting at 5pm.

For those of you that have RSVP’d, we will contact you the day of the event if it is canceled or rescheduled.

Relaxation includes a fine cigar, favorite libation & great company.

Remember; it's not about the quantity of people you meet, but the quality.

The cigars we remember the most fondly are about the moment, place & the people we are with.

That defines the true meaning of the good life.

Finally, a place where cigar smokers can meet, enjoy each others company, talk about, rate & smoke great cigars!
