Second annual Evening of Promise celebrates Aurora Women’s Pavilion 10 year anniversary
Evening to benefit cancer survivors at Aurora Women’s Pavilion
West Allis, Wis. — Mark your calendar for the Second Annual Evening of Promise on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Crowne Plaza, 10499 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa.
Director of Women’s Health, Claudette Hamm, RN, will be recognized for her leadership and dedication to the initiation and continuing development of the Aurora Women’s Pavilion. This event also features gourmet food stations and a silent auction.
Proceeds from Evening of Promise will support Living Well Beyond Cancer – a newly created patient-centered program at the Aurora Women’s Pavilion. The goal is to help cancer survivors achieve optimal health and wellness by overcoming long-term effects of cancer, including changes in relationships and body image, anxiety and bone loss.
“We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Aurora Women’s Pavilion. It’s an exciting time and we are incredibly grateful for our community’s commitment to our local medical center,” said Rick Kellar, president of the Aurora West Allis Medical Center. “Support raised from Evening of Promise will create a program that will help provide education and guidance to empower survivors to make informed decisions regarding their health and quality of life.”
Tickets are $50 per guest. To purchase tickets or for more information, please call (414) 219-7827.
