Griddlers Cafe Celebrates Official Grand Opening

Rewards & Specials Kicks off with "Music Mondays" Benefitting Area School Music Programs

The changeover of six George Webb Restaurants to Griddlers Cafe restaurants last month was quick, however the owners are making sure its official grand opening has something for its neighbors to celebrate all next week. Griddlers Cafe kicks off the week of special savings and rewards with its first "Music Mondays" on Monday, Oct. 10.

"Part of our mission at Griddlers Cafe is to give back to the community," says Don Hensiak, co-owner. "Our 'Music Mondays' program supports local school music programs that have been hit hard over the years by budget cuts."

Every Monday, Griddlers Cafe will donate a percentage of its sales, from 2 to 10 p.m., to a designated local music program. The first schools to benefit on Monday, Oct. 10 and every Monday in October are: West Allis Central and Nathan Hale High Schools in West Allis; Ronald Reagan High School and Fairview Charter Elementary in Milwaukee; Greenfield High School in Greenfield, South Milwaukee High School in South Milwaukee; and North Junior High School in Menomonee Falls.

On Wednesday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Oct. 16, Griddlers Cafe will offer 99-cent deals on hamburgers, French fries and pancakes. For every coffee and Pepsi product purchased, 25 cents will also be donated to local music programs.

In addition, Griddlers Cafe will have Loyalty Card giveaways in monetary denominations up to $50, and will be giving away one iPod Touch at each location.

Griddlers Cafe is a 24-hr. restaurant serving breakfast all day, as well as hamburgers and cheeseburgers, and sandwiches and soups, at an attractive price. It also serves coffee that is ground with its own special blend of coffee beans right on the premises. The six Griddlers Cafe locations include: 10706 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis; 4160 W. Loomis Rd. and 7510 W. Layton Ave. in Greenfield; 2012 W. Layton Ave., Milwaukee; 211 N. Chicago Ave., South Milwaukee; and N88 W16747 Appleton Ave. Menomonee Falls. Its Menomonee Falls location is owned by Diane Neavins, who has a licensing agreement with Griddlers Cafe.
