Wisconsin RAP Club sets tryouts for Central

The Wisconsin RAP Club will hold basketball tryouts on Nov. 4 at West Allis Central High School.

Applin, Cox, Klein play on WLC football team

Dylan Applin, Brandon Cox and John Klein of West Allis are all members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team for 2012.

Applin is a junior offensive lineman, Cox a freshman fullback and Klein a senior tight end for the Warriors.

Lutheran went 6-4 last season, tying the best record in program history, and captured third place in the Northern Athletics Conference.

HLC set boys-girls tryouts for AAU basketball teams

Higher Level Basketball Camps has set tryouts for boys and girls AAU fourth to 11th grades traveling teams.

HLC is an off-season basketball program for players who desire to take their game to the next level, focusing on quality over quantity, equal playing time and assisting each player as they develop an inside game, outside game and in-between game.

Tryouts are set for Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at Greenfield High School Hawks Dome, 4800 S. 60th St.
