Muskego Hitmen semipro football team opens home season July 19

The Muskego Hitmen semipro football team will begin its 2014 home season at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Whitnall High School against the Racine Raiders.

The Hitmen, who play in the Midstates Football League, will have all their home games at Whitnall. Last season, they played at Muskego High School.

The Hitmen then welcome the Lincoln Way Patriots at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

The team then goes on a three-game road trip at the Wauwatosa Spartans (7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2), the Monona Warriors (7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9) and the Madison Mustangs (7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16).

The season closes with home games against the Chicago Mustangs (7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23) and the Quad City Raiders (7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6).
