West Allis - The West Allis Nighthawks split a pair of games with the New Berlin Lakers on July 15, winning 3-0 and losing 6-5.
In the first game, Cuyler Franzke pitched a five-hitter while striking out five and Andy Schwall drove in three runs while going 2-for-2. Scott Sievert and David Henke each added two hits.
In the second contest, Schwall went 2-for-4 and Sievert drove in two runs. Mike Thrun took the loss.
The Nighthawks also lost to the Racine Kiwanis, 4-3, on July 11 despite two hits and two runs batted in from Henke.
