CENTRAL GIRLS BASKETBALL
Tyana Turkvan tallied 15 points and Megan Turner and Rachel Sura 10 points apiece as the Bulldogs routed Milwaukee Hamilton 56-18 in a WIAA Division 1 regional game on March 4.
Central jumped out to a 31-6 halftime lead, then coasted from there. The Bulldogs held the Wildcats to single digits in all but one quarter.
Central then ran into top seed Oak Creek on Friday night and dropped a 67-21 decision. Nikita Conroy scored 10 points and Turner six points.
The Bulldogs finished the season with two victories, both over Milwaukee City Conference teams.
HALE GIRLS BASKETBALL
Skylar Fox scored 14 points and Delaney Mielke 10 points, but the Huskies dropped a 78-61 game to Racine Park in WIAA Division 1 regional play on Friday night.
The Huskies trailed 32-26 at the half and fell behind by 13 points, at 55-42, after three quarters.
Sarah Mueller and Kara Placzek each tallied eight points for Hale, which ended the season at 6-17 overall.
GREENFIELD GIRLS BASKETBALL
Dana Schwab poured in 26 points, but the Hustlin' Hawks' season ended with a 65-59 loss to Racine Case in a WIAA Division 1 regional game on Friday.
Monica Hooper added nine points, Angela Deubig eight and Mallory Kleczka seven as the Hawks closed out at 9-14 overall, an improvement from recent seasons.
