West Allis' Hardwick given student-athlete honor
Stephanie Hardwick of West Allis, a sophomore at Mount Mary College and an outside hitter on the Blue Angels' volleyball team, was named the student-athlete of the month for October by the Association of Division III independents.
Hardwick helped lead Mount Mary to its second winning season in college history by tallying six double-doubles, including 12 matches with double-digit digs. She also totaled a high number of kills, assists, digs and service aces while competing against Grace Bible College, Alverno College and Aurora University.
