Cash totaling $6,550 was taken from an apartment in the 8500 block of West Beloit Road prior to 3 p.m. April 29.

Cash totaling $500 was taken from an apartment in the 3000 block of South 64th Street prior to April 30.

A bicycle was taken from a residence in the 1500 block of South 60th Street prior to 4:30 p.m. May 4.

Tools valued at $386 were taken from a residence in the 1300 block of South 86th Street prior to 11 a.m. May 5.

THEFT

A blower, a weeder and two gas cans were taken from a pickup at a residence in the 1400 block of South 74th Street between 3 and 8:45 a.m. April 30.

A 1992 Honda Civic was taken from a residence in the 2000 block of South 77th Street prior to 3 p.m. April 30.

A 76-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Kmart, 6900 W. Greenfield Ave., at 6:45 p.m. April 30.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 8:45 p.m. April 30.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Kohls, 2601 S. 108th St., at 1:15 p.m. May 1.

Merchandise valued at $85 was taken from Piggly Wiggly, 10282 W. National Ave., on April 30.

Cash totaling $7 was taken from a vehicle at a residence in the 2000 block of South 70th Street prior to 1:45 p.m. May 2.

Three cellphones were taken from a delivery truck in the 2400 block of South 108th Street at 8:37 a.m. May 2.

Copper wire was taken from an apartment complex in the 3000 block of South 83rd Street between 6 p.m. May 1 and 9 a.m. May 2.

Solar lights were taken from a residence in the 9000 block of West Vincent Place between 2 p.m. April 29 and 7:30 p.m. May 1.

A smartphone was taken from a residence in the 1300 block of South 92nd Street between 6 and 7:30 p.m. May 1.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 11:40 p.m. May 2.

Two 36-year-old women were arrested for retail theft at Marshall's, 2665 S. 108th St., at 11:55 a.m. May 3.

A 1993 Chevrolet S10 pickup was taken from a residence in the 1500 block of South 82nd Street overnight May 2-3.

A 53-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 2625 S. 108th St., at 7 p.m. May 3.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 9:45 p.m. May 3.

A washer and dryer were taken from a residence in the 2400 block of South 61st Street between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. May 3.

A bicycle was taken from McDonald's, 8301 W. Greenfield Ave., between 10 and 10:30 a.m. May 4.

Merchandise valued at $18 was taken from Dollar General, 7100 W. Lincoln Ave., at 12:30 p.m. May 4.

A cellphone and $45 were taken from a vehicle at a residence in the 1500 block of South 73rd Street prior to 7:30 p.m. May 4.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 9:15 p.m. May 4.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Menards, 2535 S. 108th St., at 5:30 p.m. May 5.

ASSAULTS

A 54-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault at 1:45 a.m. May 4.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in the 9000 block of West National Avenue at 12:15 a.m. May 3.

A 31-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 6600 block of West Arthur Avenue at 11:45 p.m. May 3.

VANDALISM

The rear passenger window of a vehicle was broken at a residence in the 2100 block of South 91st Street between 11:30 p.m. May 3 and 3:30 p.m. May 4.
