Man calls 911 in search of missing remote, doesn't miss Brewers game

A 97-year-old man who wanted to watch a Milwaukee Brewers game called 911 to report someone had stolen his remote control.

According to the Greenfield police report:

The man called 911 to report someone had stolen his remote control from his residence in the 9300 block of West Howard Avenue prior to 8 p.m. Sept. 26.

The remote control was found after police responded, so the man was able to watch the Brewers game.

  7. Hey, he's 97! Glad he's still able to live in his own place, and that he cares about something so much. Good for the police for helping him out. Nice break from the usual garbage they have to deal with.
  8. Greenfield police used excellent judgement but why does it take the milwaukee police department 4 hours to respond to a home when a woman reported that there were intruders in her house
  9. Are the police counting this as a solved case? Could also qualify as a story line from one of the Crime Scene shows.
  10. The remote was found next to his meds for senility...
