West Allis police release photos from bank robbery

Jan. 13, 2014

West Allis police Monday released a surveillance photo of a man who robbed the PyraMax Bank, 8001 W. National Ave.

The man entered the bank shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday, gave a note demanding money to an employee and placed a black, plastic bag on the counter, according to a news release from West Allis police.

The man fled after the employee placed money in the bag, according to the release.

Police also released a surveillance photo of a woman who is not a suspect in the robbery but was in the vicinity at the time.

Police would like to talk to the woman, who was pushing a stroller.

Anyone with information is asked to call the West Allis Police Department, (414) 302-8000 and ask for the detective bureau.
