School Board seeks applicants for Kitchen's seat
Residents interested in applying for the West Allis-West Milwaukee School Board seat left vacant after the death of Robert Kitchen have until 4 p.m. Oct. 23 to do so.
School Board President Joanie Luedke is asking applicants to submit a written biography, including employment history and involvement in local public schools.
Applications should be mailed to or dropped off at the Educational Administration Center, 9333 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis WI 53227, attention Joanie Luedke.
Candidates may be called to meet with the board. The candidate will be sworn into office by Nov. 24 and will serve until the 2010 general elections in April.

Kitchen, 80, died Sept. 22. He had served on the West Allis-West Milwaukee School Board for 19 years, including six years as president.
