'Debt' confrontation leads to gun and theft arrests
Three people were arrested after a resident drew a gun in the 1400 block of South 92nd Street Monday night.
According to a police report:
A 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman showed up at an apartment about 6 p.m. to collect a "debt" from a man and woman, both 20 years old.
A physical confrontation between the two men transpired in the hallway before the 20-year-old man pulled out a revolver and pointed it at the other man.
The altercation continued inside the apartment before the 23-year-old man and 25-year-old woman stole three purses and tried to flee.
After police arrived, the 20-year-old man was arrested for endangering safety by using a dangerous weapon, a misdemeanor.
Officers also arrested the 23-year-old and 25-year-old for disorderly conduct and theft.
