The Milwaukee Brewers will host their first block party of the year from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at LaFollette Park, 9418 W. Washington St.
Everyone is admitted for free, and the event also includes free hot dogs, soda and potato chips while supplies last, thanks to support by various sponsors.
All three of this season's Brewers Block Parties will feature appearances by Brewers players and coaches, Bernie Brewer and the Klement's Famous Racing Sausages, and Brewers radio personalities. Raffle prizes featuring Brewers game tickets, game-used memorabilia and other autographed items will be given away. The Brewers merchandise trailer will be on hand with the latest in Brewers apparel.
Players and coaches will arrive about 11:30 a.m. and will be there for about 45 minutes. The players and coaches will first participate in a Q&A session, followed by an autograph session.
This marks the fifth season the Brewers have hosted the events throughout the community
