Two 108th Street restaurants burglarized
Two restaurants were burglarized in the 2800 block and 2300 block of South 108th Street in the early hours of Dec. 29, but nothing was taken.
According to a West Allis police report:
It was reported that someone entered Perkins Restaurant, 2878 S. 108th St., at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 29.
A north side window of the restaurant was broken after someone threw a rock at it. The burglar entered the business, broke an office window and knocked the electronic keypad off the safe using a fire extinguisher. The burglar then left through the broken window. Nothing was reported taken. Damage is estimated at $2,300.
Two and a half hours later, it was reported that a window was smashed at Oscar's, 2362 S. 108th St. Surveillance revealed a black man entered the business and left. Nothing was reported taken.
