Victim let robber into locked apartment building

A 66-year-old West Allis man was a victim of strong arm robbery in an apartment building in the 7400 block of West Washington Street about 5 p.m. Nov. 10.

According to a West Allis police report:

The victim let a man he did not know into the locked lobby of the apartment complex. That man reached into the victim's pocket and grabbed his bank book, then ran to a vehicle and drove away.

Through Monday, at least, no money was missing from the victim's bank account.

Armed robber takes laptop from residence

A 21-year-old West Allis man was a victim of robbery while sitting in a basement of a residence in the 2000 block of South 91st Street at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 15.

According to a West Allis police report:

An unknown man entered the basement, displayed a silver handgun at the victim, and demanded money and pills. The robber took the victim's laptop computer, valued at $500, and left the residence.

The suspect was last seen walking north in the 2000 block of South 91st Street.
