Steven Sarich of West Allis was honored as a high scholar, a student in the top 10 percent of his senior class, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in April.
Jennifer Roberts of Greenfield made the fall semester dean's list at Marquette University in Milwaukee.

The following students earned $500 college scholarships from the Woman's Club of West Allis: Ashley Dobson, Rebecca Krizan and Alyssa Mihaljevic from West Allis Central High School; and Callan Loberg, Joseph Kovnesky and Natalie Melk from Nathan Hale High School.
YOURNEIGHBORS
Mary Morris and Thomas Miller were honored for their service to West Allis by Wisconsin Main Street, a community development program of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation that targets the state's historic commercial districts, during its awards ceremony in April. Morris was honored as the West Allis volunteer of the year for 2011, and Miller was honored as the West Allis board member of the year for 2011.
