West Allis — On Jan. 3, West Allis Central High School will take on Washington High in boys basketball. The advance tickets-only price is $4.
The game is at Washington High School, 2525 N. Sherman Blvd., and there will be no admission purchases at the door.
Tickets can be purchased at Central from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
The junior varsity game begins at 5 p.m. and the varsity at 7 p.m.

Skating rink returns
to LaFollette Park
West Allis — The Friends of LaFollette Park, 9418 W. Washington St., West Allis, built an ice rink on the park playground.
It has been 23 years since the last ice rink there. The new one is a cooperative effort between Milwaukee County, the city of West Allis and the Friends of LaFollette.
The rink can be used anytime the park is open until the 10 p.m. closing, but the flood lights will be on and the warming pavilion will be open only certain hours.
The tentative weekly schedule is 2 to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 2 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The rink has a set of hockey goals.
to meet, dance
West Allis — The Vagabond Ski & Social Club for singles and married couples will hold a meeting and dance Jan. 2 at WG's Banquet Center (formerly the Knights of Columbus Hall), 3200 S. 103rd St., West Allis.
Music will be by Bobby Way. The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. with the dance at 8:30 p.m.
Admission costs $5.
Brew City Wrestling
to mark 10th anniversary
West Allis — Brew City Wrestling will return to the Knights of Columbus, 1800 S. 92 St., West Allis, with "RISE TO HONOR X," its 10th anniversary show Jan. 10.
Special guest will be Jake "the Snake" Roberts.

massage for infants
West Allis — The Health Department, 7120 W. National Ave., will offer its infant massage class at 10 a.m. Jan. 21 and 22.
Participants will learn the benefits of infant massage while practicing it in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere. The class will be facilitated by a certified infant massage teacher.
Fees, to be collected at the first class, are $10 for West Allis-West Milwaukee residents and $20 for nonresidents. Fees include both days of instruction as well as all hand-out material and surprise giveaways.
Infants must be no more than 6 months old. Class size is limited so early registration is recommended at (414) 302-8600.

West Allis — The Health Department is scheduling appointments for evening children's immunization clinics.
The clinics are from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second Monday of the month and the fourth Tuesday of the month at the department, 7120 W. National Ave. Appointments can be made by calling (414) 302-8600. Childhood immunizations at the Health Department are free.
The department also offers daytime immunization clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 12:30 to 4 p.m. Thursdays.
