Rudy and Marge Dlapa of New Berlin, formerly residents of West Allis for 42 years, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner with their family.
The couple married May 20, 1961, at St. Augustine Church in West Allis.
Children of the couple are Jackie McCullen of New Berlin, Joan (Dan) Choren of Nashotah, Christeen Dlapa of Oak Creek, Stephanie (Dave) Petrie of Wind Lake and Steve (Jean) Dlapa of Waukesha.
Grandchildren are Mitchell, Mac, Shannon, Caitlin, Casey (Russell), Mason, Chase, Cortney, Nolan, Connor and Carter.
The couple owned and operated Dlapa's M&R Bar for 42 years, retiring in 2003.
