West Allis PD Joins ICAC
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen was joined by Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, West Allis Police Chief Mike Jungbluth and Oak Creek Captain of Police John Edwards to announce that Wisconsin’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Affiliates (ICAC) has grown to and surpassed 100 partners. Attorney General Van Hollen praised and thanked Sheriff Clarke, Chief Jungbluth and Captain Edwards for their department’s commitment to child safety and the fight against the epidemic of crimes against the smallest and most vulnerable citizens.
Refuse and Recycling for the Holidays
REFUSE AND RECYCLING FOR THE 2009 CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS
- Our offices are closed and refuse and recycling will not be collected on Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25, and Friday, January 1, 2010.
- The Municipal Yard will be open to accept drop-off of materials on Saturday, December 26.
- Please note the holiday schedule below and plan ahead to set out your refuse and, if appropriate, recyclables by 7:00 a.m. according to this modified schedule.
- Be aware that a snowstorm may further alter this collection schedule.

*Refuse and recycling collections are affected by weeks with a holiday. Crews may work ahead or fall behind the normal route schedule during these weeks. Any refuse or recyclables not collected should be made available on the next scheduled work day.
