Beginning Monday, July 6, 2015, the City of West Allis will begin a PILOT program to accept electronics such as computer parts and televisions. This program is ONLY for one to four family residential properties in West Allis. *The Municipal Yard and Morgan site are OPEN for drop-off on Friday, July 3.
*DPW offices are CLOSED on Friday, July 3, and refuse and recycling will NOT be collected.

Thursday night concerts at Vets' Park are back again thanks to the generosity of sponsors in the West Allis business community. There are also four family-friendly concerts, hosted by the Community Alliance Against Drugs (CAAD) and in cooperation with the West Allis Police Department. The Municipal Yard will not be open to accept drop-off materials on Saturday, May 23. ** DPW offices will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 25, and refuse and recycling will not be collected on Monday, May 25. ** If your regular collection day is Monday, May 25, please set out your refuse, and, if appropriate, recyclables on Tuesday, May 26, by 7:00 am. ** For the remainder of the week, please set out your refuse or recyclables on your normal collection days by 7:00 am. ** Crews may work ahead or fall behind the normal route schedule. ** Any refuse or recyclables not collected on your normal collection day should be made available on the next scheduled work day. ** There will also be no brush collection the week of May 25.
The Allied Veterans Committee, in conjunction with the City of West Allis, will sponsor a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25, 2015. The parade will step off promptly at 10:00 a.m. and a memorial service will follow the parade at approximately 11:00 a.m.
