Medicine Collection Day

Milwaukee County residents are encouraged to bring their prescription medication, over the counter medication, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials and pet medications to Miller Park (lot by the Sausage Haus) on Saturday, May 8, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  DO NOT bring illegal drugs, biohazardous materials, needles/sharps, personal care products (shampoo, soap, lotion, sunscreen, etc.) or household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, oil, gas).

Keep the medication in the original package or bottle.  You may cross off your name and address but do not cover up the name of the medication.  To comply with federal law, certain drugs have to immediately be turned over to local law enforcement for disposal.  You will be asked to fill out a short form with your name and address, verifying you're a Milwaukee County resident.
