Kim is 34 years old, married for 16 years with three kids that all attend West Allis/West Milwaukee Schools. She was born and raised in New Berlin, but spent most of her time as a child in West Allis with her grandpa. After getting married, she stayed in West Allis for three years, went away for four years, and returned to West Allis for the past 8 years. Her hope with this blog is to raise awareness of what is happening, the good and the bad, within the school district.
This week we will go national. One of our readers brought this article to my attention in the last blog posting. This too makes me wonder if I am an Obama supportor.
I am all for people being who they are. Gay or straight, man or woman-be who you are and don't let anyone tell you different, but if your going to work for the goverment and work to make our schools safer and better ,don't go around telling stories of your own personal drug use and inapprioate behavior. That is what Kevin Jennings is basically doing.
According to the article on Fox News, Mr. Jennings is President Obama's "safe schools czar". Back in the 80's when he started teaching he didn't report an inapprioate relationship between a 15 year old student and a man the student meet in a bathroom. Instead he recommended the student wear a condom. This story has been published many times in many different books written by Mr. Jennings. Could this be why so many predators are not caught? How many other teachers are not reporting such cases?
The article goes on to say how Mr. Jennings has wrote several books about that student and just recently gave an apology without much remorse. In his books he goes on to discuss how he used drugs in his early life as a teacher. Now I understand, teachers are not perfect people and many have done drugs, but how many of them go around telling all how they got stoned? He is suppose to be supporting the "Just Say No" policy Mrs. Reagan brought about in the 80's. Reports are saying that Mr. Jennings isn't saying much in lines of saying no to drugs. Seems his main concern is keeping homosexual students safe from bully's.
Don't get me wrong, helping to protect teen homosexuals is important. I am strongly against gay bashing, but there are other students in the system that need protection from bullies. Our students need help fighting drug use, bullies, and to be safe in school. Is Mr. Jennings even promoting these topics? When is Mr. Jennings going to say that his own drug use was wrong? Don't we need adults in the system that are good role models? Shouldn't they be saying, "Yes I did drugs, but it was wrong and I shouldn't have. You need to say no to drugs"? Doesn't seem like Mr. Jennings is doing that and he has been appointed by President Obama to carry on a message we don't seem to be hearing him, Mr. Jennings, saying!
FOXNEWS host Sean Hannity is reminding his radio and TV audience about Kevin Jennings almost on a daily basis. Here's a "Fair & Balanced" debate between host Sean Hannity and the host of ABC's show "This Week", George Stephanopoulos, about Kevin Jennings. Hannity thinks it's a big deal. Stephanopoulos thinks it's NOT a big deal. George doesn't really back down from Hannity (and I give George tons of credit for appearing on FOXNEWS since other MSM hosts are afraid to show their face on FOXNEWS) during the discussion. View it yourself and be your own judge. I think Hannity's absolutely right in this case.

Is this REALLY what 53% of the voters wanted out of the White House when the Obama campaign continually promised, "Hope & Change"? It's definitely 'change', that's for darn sure.
In case you didn't know, the organization mentioned a few times in this clip, NAMBLA, is the North American Man/Boy Love Association. Doesn't sound like much of conservative association to me. Doesn't even sound like much of a moderate or mainstream organization to me either. It sure sounds like a radical left-wing organization, doesn't it? President Obama doesn't see anything wrong with Jennings because, Obama himself is a radical left-wing guy. It's as simple as that.

FOXNEWS was right about ACORN, but few others in the MSM reported about the corruption. Now, ACORN is under Federal investigation and has had much of their federal funding (from your taxes and mine) eliminated. FOXNEWS was right about Van Jones, but few others in the MSM reported about his background. Now, Van Jones is out of the White House. FOXNEWS has a track record of being right. Does anybody think they're wrong about Jennings being fit for the job President Obama wants him to have? I certainly don't.
I wonder how many people in the WAWM system are card-carrying members of NAMBLA.
Now, GET OFF MY LAWN! ;)
