This and That

I live in Greenfield with my husband and cat. I work full time. Frugality and simplicity have been a part of my life long before they became popular and it has made life a lot less stressful. I love volunteering, home improvement/decorating, crafting and gardening.

A Simple THANK YOU Would Suffice

My grandparents and parents always taught me to send Thank You notes/cards to someone who sent or gave me money or a gift/gifts.  I've done this even as an adult.  I may not send as many notes or cards as I did when I was younger, but I call and/or send an e-mail or e-card.

I guess grandparents and parents don't teach such nonsense to their children and grandchildren anymore. Now with graduations happening, we have gotten a few invitations to parties or notifications of an upcoming graduation.  In the past, the graduates have never bothered to thank us in any way, shape or form - and, they come from "so called classy" families.  Even with weddings, thank you notes, if ever received, may not be received until a year after the wedding, if the couple are still even married!
