I work very hard and am attending college to obtain my degree in the Human Service field. Writing makes me feel alive and gives me the opportunity to touch those whom I would not be able to otherwise. Last but not least, I have been blessed with two amazing daughters who love me completely and support my dreams. Feel free to contact me with questions, concerns or feedback.
Lately, we've been hearing about babies losing their lives over co-sleeping arrangements. I have my own thoughts, ideas and suggestions about this particular topic. Feel free to comment and join me in fighting this cause.
Upon the birth of my daughters, I decided to breastfeed. The first couple of weeks are tough, to say the least. After the initial excruciating pain, you get through it and enjoy the bonding. My daughter's father and I had the agreement that when baby woke during the night, he would bring her to me, I would feed and then he would return her to her crib. There were times when we did co-sleep. I would lie on my left side facing the wall, he would support my back lying on his. The baby would sleep on my side only, never between us. There may have been times when we napped together, but we were both coherent enough to wake if baby stirred.
