Imagine that! Two cooking shows get to the Final Four in the same week
Last year, I made a big deal about how horrible Hell's Kitchen (not this one, this one) was. I said that The Next Food Network Star was far superior with the same basic concept (take a satchelful of unqualified dolts, and winnow it down to the handful who might almost "make it")

(Side note; I had planned to post this last night, but I fell asleep in the recliner and, well, you know.)

So Mortified West Allis Resident... Did you squeeze every last car on your yard (like Santa's Elf said)? Do you recall getting quite the largess at Christmastime? I know I was regularly shafted. Methinks that Santa's Elf has us confused. Did you enjoy playing with my Super Toe Football, my GI Joe action figure and my Rock 'em Sock'em Robots? Sigh. It explains a lot. (Side note; read the very last comment here.)

I knew I was in trouble when Knobbleknees said that she was pregnant again this past April.
Day 4 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
I am at the place this year that I am the same time every year... I am almost out of things to say, because I haven't gotten to attend the State Fair, yet, and how much can I really talk about parking cars? Also, nothing spectacular has happened at the Fair to date (unless you consider a blown motor on the Sky Glider to be "spectacular".)
Day 5 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
Not too much to report today. I went to work at 7:15 AM, returned around midnight, as I went to dinner and the Brewers game (Side note; John Axford has blown two saves this season... both were games in which I attended.)
Day 7 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
Not a whole lot to report today. We were able to park 2 cars in the afternoon at $3 each, but those cars were gone by the time I got home from work. I changed clothes quickly and left for the Brewers game. Driving down 84th St towards the freeway, I noticed many of the lawns much closer to the Fair than ours were devoid of cars and those people were only charging $5. I called My-Sugar-Na and told her to pack it in for the night. Total number of cars parked to date is 78 (that rhymes. Cool!)
Day 8 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
With three days left in the State Fair, thoughts conflict between reviewing what has happened with what is still in front of us.
Day 9 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
I have gone out of my way for the past week or so to NOT focus my blog solely on my car parking adventures. I may not have had as much to say about the State Fair proper, but I've tried to make sure there is something of substance in each blog.
Day 11 Part 1 - State Fair Blog done (Sponsor's Name Here)-style
When I got up this morning and took (Sponsor's Name Here)'s Official Son, Mitten, to work, I noticed that it was a bit less humid.

Remember that I mentioned that we were planning a weekend at the Wisconsin Dells as a treat for parking the cars?
