Happy New Year West Allis! The weather outside may be frightful, but our Children's Series is warming things up nicely for theatergoers of all ages.
Our next production in our Children's Series will be an adaptation of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" presented by the Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa. Directed by James Lentz, Jr. this amusing tale is scaled down for a younger audience but is a fantastic story for everyone. The show will be presented at Nathan Hale High School. Tickets are bargain-priced at $3. Plus, with a curtain time of 2 p.m. and a running time of one hour, everyone will be able to get home in time to watch the Packers play at 3:30 p.m. (All except me (Katherine) because my husband and I have tickets to see "Wicked" on Broadway with some good friends. Hopefully they will announce the score at intermission. Ah, the things I do for theater!)
Keep your eyes open for our audition notice for our spring production "Fuddy Meers." Stay warm!
