Residents who suffered damage in the recent flooding that hit the city are looking for answers. But city officials say there are no easy solutions to the flooding woes.

The event begins with a noon parade at 68th and Layton that will travel to Konkel Park. The park will host a variety of entertainment options, including inflatable rides and food and drink. Fireworks are set for just after dusk.

West Allis is redesigning its official city Web Site, and is looking for a new look and feel for it home page. There are 14 designs in the running, and now it's your turn to vote for your favorite.
Fun for the FourthWest Allis' four-day celebration is entitled "One Nation, United We Stand" and begins the Wednesday before the 4th with a breakfast at City Hall honoring scholars, musicians and athletes. The celebration continues Thursday with a parade beginning at State Fair Park at 7 p.m. and continuing to Veterans' Memorial Park. Fireworks are set for 9:30 p.m. Saturday at State Fair Park. Check out the city's official schedule.
